Visited today for a simplified brunch group gathering where we had our own special selection of menu choices. Our server Daniel was very attentive and did a great job getting our orders properly entered and delivered in a timely manner. I personally had the Mediterranean cod over risotto. The cod portion was of a good size, and more importantly properly prepared, very moist and flavorful. The risotto was nicely prepared, considering so many of my group of 16 people seem to have made this selection. The warm brownie with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and whipped cream was of course wonderful.

Great steak, had the tomahawk for two, cooked exactly medium rare, but i did think they let the rib cap get a little too charred- not enough to lower a star. We tried all the steak sauces and they were great. We appreciate the amazing service, and how quickly the kids meal came out. Amazing place, always consistently good. Highly recommend.

Mike W was our waiter and he was awesome! Thank you! Visited here during their happy hour time where certain apps are $6 and it's -$2 off drinks. Really loved the fried pickles. They had a great crunch. The Philly Cheesesteak eggs rolls had a horseradish dipping sauce. So good! I ordered the blood orange margarita and it was spicy! So beware! We ended up getting the dinner meal for $27 which included a salad or soup, meal, and dessert. I really enjoyed the cook on the my meat. Overall I'm really happy with the service, prices, vibe, and experience! I haven't been in a long time so this was a nice experience!

Absolutely delicious! We got the surf N turf. It was perfection and hit the spot! The waitress was friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself was busy. We didn't wait long to be seated. It was cozy inside. Great date night spot.

The food was wonderful and our server was a blast. We came with a group of friends for dinner. I had not been here for a good two years and it exceeded my expectations. One of our friends confused the mules bc I guess they offer different types and he graciously explained the difference, where they originated from and then took back the mule she didn't like and brought her another one for her to try. We ordered a few different things everything was delicious. The place was pretty packed even in the bar area. We'll definitely be back.

Barbarie's Black Angus Grill is an amazing steakhouse in Danbury! I went for the first time recently and loved it. Here the scoop on this restaurant... I would definitely recommend calling and making a reservation, especially if you're planning to go on a weekend night. I went on a Friday night and it was packed! Though the parking lot is fairly large, it was completely full when I went and I had to park at the hotel across the street. To drink I ordered the Apple Cider Sangria, which was one of their seasonal drink specials. It was really good! I then got the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp for an appetizer (also a special) and the shrimp were delicious! For my meal I chose the Beef Short Ribs, which were topped with a Cabernet and Vegetable Reduction. These were so tender and flavorful! The sides included mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts, though I substituted broccoli for the Brussels. I did notice the mashed potatoes were a little thick and not as creamy as I had expected them to be, but they were still really good. For dessert I ordered the Creme Brûlée, which was amazing! A fairly big portion though, I couldn't eat all of it. The server was super friendly and attentive, and the food came out surprisingly quick considering how crowded it was. Overall I would definitely recommend!

We came here for for my wife's birthday dinner. We were overly satisfied with our experience. Located off Newton Rd in Danbury. Lots of parking. Inside and outdoor seating is available. All the staff we interacted with were fantastic, especially our server. Lots of great decor, especially the case of steaks. Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. There's a nice bar area which include tv for baseball and other sports. The food was amazing. I started with an arugula Caesar salad. It's not on the menu but my server was kind enough to substitute the lettuce for arugula. We then moved to the Tomahawk steak for 2. Seasoned and cooked perfectly. Every bite was soft and melted in my mouth. They cut it so well from the bone there was minimal meat after they played it. We ordered 4 sauces to go with the steak: horseradish cream, bourbon peppercorn, bernaise, and Barbarie's prime steak. My favorite was the horseradish followed by the Barbarie's steak sauce. We got the brownie a la mode for dessert. Very delicious, still warm so the ice cream was melting on top as it should. Barberie's is my new go to steakhouse for special occasion. Five stars!
